Satin Spar Selenite Wand - Natural

Satin Spar, like Selenite, is a variety of gypsum. These Satin Spar sticks or wands are elongated and rough with long striations. This crystal is used to dispel negative energy. It cleanses and purifies.  Satin Spar is crystallized gypsum.

It vibrates at a high frequency and crystal healers believe it can be used to "charge" other crystals.

Selenite vs Satin Spar

While Selenite and Satin Spar are similar there are clear differences. Both are a variety of gypsum. The two have the same chemical composition. However, true selenite is clear and colorless like glass. It is more rare than satin spar and costs much more.

It is common to see the terms selenite and satin spar used interchangeably.  Satin spar is opaque or translucent and fibrous.
